Casden (CJ) Brooks is a 2017 OF/3B, MIF, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Liberty HS. Large frame, slender build, room to fill as he continues to get stronger. From the outfield, accurate throws to the base. Developing lower half. Athletic actions on the infield, throws from a lower 3/4 arm slot across. Quick twitch actions that play well up the middle or third base. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Short compact swing direct to the baseball. Good bat speed, does a nice job of hitting the baseball to all fields. Keeps his hands inside the baseball and lets the ball travel. Excellent student.
