Alfonso Aguilar is a 2015 2B/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Metairie, LA who attends Holy Cross. Aguilar has a medium build, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set up. Uses a leg lift trigger to start a rotational line drive swing plane. Has an aggressive pull approach and shows good bat speed. Has lift in swing. Defensively, good actions and attacks baseball, smooth hands. Good accurate throws. Also pitches, mainly an over the top arm slot, has feel for pitching and will change arm slots and angles. Has good mix with fastball and curveball. Outstanding Student.
