Andrew Stratman is a 2017 RHP/SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Bennington, KS who attends Salina High Central. Medium, athletic frame, young look, with a lean build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from an extended three-quarter arm slot with a short, quick arm action in the back. Up tempo delivery with a simple leg raise, full hand path, stays tall at release. Shoulder tilt delivery, gets on top of ball well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, showing arm side run and attacked hitters with the pitch. Threw three pitches for strikes which included an 11-5 curveball with tight spin and developed throughout the outing and a changeup at 73 mph. Mixed well and missed numerous bats. Stuff projects with added strength and incorporation of lower half. Named to South Underclass Top Prospect List. Very good student.
