Justin Rayyan is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 5-8 161 lb. frame from Mundelein, IL who attends Adlai E Stevenson HS. Medium build, some present strength for his age. Left handed hitter, rotational upper half swing, front side pulls off the ball early, limited hand use droving the barrel, line drive swing plane, works the middle of the field. 7.63 runner, has some raw arm strength with a quick release, tends to fall off hard on release creating tailing action on his throws. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot with a long arm action. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight, soft curveball with occasional depth, had some feel for a running change up, mixed his pitches well. Very good student.
