Bryan Deegan is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Harrison. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.29 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with fundamentally sound footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Carries weight through released well showing fluid glove to hand exchanges. Throws produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 74 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Direct hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently repeated actions well and stayed balance throughout. Flashed the ability to control the bat head throughout the zone and consistently worked to all parts of the field. Also pitched utilizing a simple step back to leg lift delivery. Stayed balanced on back side at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Released from a high three-quarters slot generating occasional sink to the bottom of the zone in the low 70's. Curveball had 11/5 shape with loose spin and some depth in the low 60's. Also flashed a straight changeup that had some wiggle to arm side as well. Good student as well.
