Sam Stelnick is a 2015 3B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Newmarket, ON who attends Dr. J. M. Denison Secondary School. Tall, strongly built, mature frame. Arm strength still developing across the diamond, but arms works well and makes accurate throws across. Makes the plays consistently. Bats right-handed, works from a high hand set and flashes solid bat speed. Makes pull side contact and has lift in his swing. Projects to add more power. Also took the mound, topped at 75 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has good tempo in his delivery. Flashes arm side run. Throws a lot of strikes and has a clean arm action. Also mixes a well spotted 67 mph curveball with 11-5 depth. Good student.
