Brandon Pimentel is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Americas. Medium, athletic frame with a young, lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Small rock set at beginning of delivery, clean mechanics with nice balance throughout. Gets cross body at release at times but gets extension out front. Fastball topped at 71 mph, showing arm side run. Mixed off speed well, curveball showed 11-5 shape with a nice feel and changeup shows good sinking action. Circles ball well in the outfield, long arm action with accuracy to the bag, fluid actions with arm strength that will continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set. Line drive swing plane, shows a feel for the barrel with contact to all fields, tools project with added strength.
