Josh Morales is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends North Fort Myers HS. Medium build, athletic frame, and strong attributes that moves well on the field. Average runner. On the mounds a smooth and balanced delivery, compact arm circle, 3/4 slot, extended release point throwing across his body. Creates downhill plane on fastball at 83 to 85 miles per hour with arm side run and sink. Curveball at 71mph has good depth and maintains arm speed. In the outfield he plays aggressive to the ball, has good transfer, quick arm and shows arm strength. On the infield, works through the ball, fields in good position, looked best throwing on the run. At the plate he has a square stance with high hands. Starts his swing with gather to rear leg, short leg lift stride separation, rotates hips with quickness and has good uphill bat path. Good student.
