Tanner Gallman is a 2017 C/3B/2B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Calhoun, GA who attends Calhoun High School. Large frame, strong lower half with strength throughout. From behind the plate, good size for the position with a strong arm up to 80 mph with a quick transfer and release. Strong arm across the diamond as well, up to 86, but better suited for catcher. At the plate, wider base and square stance with leg kick trigger leading to swing. Swings hard and looks to pull the ball. Line drive swing with slight uppercut. Could do well to level out swing to make more consistent, hard contact. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
