Brandon Breaux is a 2016 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Vista Ridge. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from an over the top arm slot with a shorter arm action in the back. Steady paced delivery, stays tall on backside well, shows a loose arm coming through, needs to incorporate more lower half into delivery. Threw primarily fastball, topped at 77 mph and gets cutting action on the pitch with occasional sink and flashed a curveball at 65 mph. Show quickness in arm from the outfield with nice carry when on top, full arm circle with sound mechanics. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and high back elbow. Aggressive approach in the box, upper body swing, line drive swing plane with line drive contact to all fields, shows a good feel to pull the ball. Good student.
