Payton Scott is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 6-1 157 lb. frame from Johnson City, TX who attends Lyndon B Johnson HS. Has a medium frame, lean build, and room to fill out as he continues to put on additional muscle. From the outfield, had strong throws with carry, accurate to the bag. From the infield, showed good exchange and release into throws with good movements to the baseball. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance and leg lift trigger. Has a short, compact swing with a contact approach. Consistently finds the barrel and has a good approach. Good student.
