Jack Waldrop is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Bonaire, GA who attends Veterans High School. Medium frame with a compact, powerful build and good strength throughout. Primary right handed pitcher, worked from a higher three quarter arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. Collapses backside towards the plate and was deliberate towards the plate. Balanced throughout with a pitch to contact approach and missed barrels generating a lot of ground balls. Fastball worked 75-79 mph with sinking action that was placed well in the lower third of the zone. Mixed in a curveball at 67 mph that flashed depth.
