Jordan Wilson is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny Centennial. Wilson has a lean athletic body. Left Handed hitter who hits from a square upright stance with a wider base. Simple line drive swing plane with good barrel control . High contact high average approach. Hits to all fields with consistent contact. Showed quick hands and some bat quickness. Defensively, primary OF, solid footwork with good first steps to the ball. Takes good routes in CF tracking the ball and covers ground. Arm strength is developing, has accurate throws to base. Can run with 6.92 that translates to baseball speed. Excellent Student.
