Nicholas Watson-Garcia is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 181 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Heritage. Medium and athletic frame, still more room to fill in his build. Ran a 7.23 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, compact delivery with plenty of tempo, loose arm action up to a low 3/4 arm slot, arm works through the back but does tend to cut off extension out in front, releases with some effort and good balance throughout, gets good use of his lower half in his wind up, repeats delivery nicely with command of all three of his pitches. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, feel for his 10-to-4 curveball with good biting action, maintains arm speed on his low-70s changeup, was able to spot up all three pitches nicely. Secondary middle infielder, athletic actions, showed fluidity to actions with the ability to throw on the run and with multiple arm angles, quick release, topped out at 83 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, narrow stance, well timed leg kick trigger to start swing, timing hitch gets him on plane, quick hands to the baseball, starts out very quiet with an element of controlled explosion through contact, consistent barrel skills, swing plays in game as well.
