Marco Morales is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from Reading, PA who attends Reading HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, mature build with present strength throughout. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate in drills, receives the ball out front, gains short ground with lower half coming out of crouch, quick transfer into a high exchange, gets on top of throws with a short arm action, 2.07 best pop time. Switch-hitter, shows best bat speed from the left side, begins with a slightly open stance and utilizes a pull side approach. Turns on the ball well, short shift into contact and projects with additional lower half. Spread stance with a high hand set and back elbow from the right side, linear swing path through the zone, swings with intent and stays short to ball, shows strength when squared.
