Ryan Panzitta is a 2017 SS/3B/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Lafayette HS. Tall frame, lean build. Body projects very well for added size and strength. Right handed hitter with a slightly open stance. Aggresive linear lower half with solid barrel turn through contact. Consistently squared up balls during batting practice with plus strength. Showed a compact, live drive swing path with a gap to gap approach. Ball jumped of barrel hard to all fields during batting practice. Worked out defensively from the infield. Good first step angles with a quick transfer and release while surrounding the baesball. Athletic actions with solid glove work while funneling. Throws were on line and accurate to the bag. Quick, athletic tool set defensively. Ran a 7.20 sixty yard dash. Outstanding student. Named to 2016 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
