Ross Love is a 2007 OF/P/3B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Russiaville IN, who attends Western HS. Love has a taller body with a slender lean build. Defensively, Love throws with a long arm action that is easy and loose. The ball comes out of his hand clean and he has solid arm strength. Love has some carry and his throws were online. He moves to the ball well in the outfield and he has solid range. At the plate, Love starts with a medium width base and high hands. He starts his swing with a deep load and he takes a long stride. He gets his front foot down in time and maintains good balance through his swing. Love throws the bat head to the baseball and gets the barrel through the zone well. He has some length to his swing and he has bat speed. He is a good student as well.
