Nathan Letien is a 2017 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Conroe HS. Young, athletic frame with twitch to frame and projects with continued physical strength added to build. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, comes to the ball with shorts steps and works through it, fields the ball out front, quickness to arm and gets on top of throws, online and accurate, athletic actions and projects well. Also pitched, throws from an extended three-quarters arm slot, compact arm action through the back side with an easy release. Short running life on fastball up to 75 mph, mostly true, pitches to contact and mixed in a short 11-5 curveball at 64 mph, flashed depth. Righthanded hitter, starts with a high back elbow and hands pulled back. Toe tap trigger for timing, line drive swing plane with a loose, simple stroke and fluidity through the zone. Repeats approach and shows a feel for the barrel with extension out front. Pull side approach, line drive contact off barrel. Very good student.
