Jack Perdue is a 2022 RHP/2B, SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Christian Academy of Louisville. Recorded a 7.23 second 60 yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame who throws from multiple slots. Fastball has arm side life with some sink when he throws it from the high three-quarters slot. Tends to fall off glove side, shows a floating changeup and will slow his arm down on it. Also throws a curveball with 12/6 shape and downer action, plays well off the fastball when thrown from the same slot. Will drop slot on the curveball as well with more horizontal movement. Secondary second baseman with a quick transfer and release and good first step. Shows solid footwork and range up the middle, developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and open stance and toe tap trigger. Uphill swing path with limited lower half drive, flies open at times. Strictly pull side approach, can create lift to pull. Takes his hands to the ball and shows present bat speed. Great student.
