Nick Morrison is a 2021 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Mechanicsburg, PA who attends Mechanicsburg Area. Young, projectable build with square shoulders and a lean frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary middle infielder, short steps moving towards the ball and works behind it well, moves to either side well, fields the ball out front, compact arm action through the back and works to a lower three-quarters release point, accurate across the diamond with arm strength and carry that will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, square stance in the box, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing and works with a contact approach. Loads hands back at start of swing, upper body dominant swing with linear swing path. Works the middle and opposite parts of the field, line drive contact off barrel when squared, bat speed will continue to improve with added physical strength.
