Will Trochiano is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Morganville, NJ who attends Marlboro High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with additional room to fill out. Ran a 5.17 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows quick footwork moving up the middle with balance to actions, extra step at release but gets on top of throws well and shows both strength and carry across the diamond, athleticism to actions, projects with added strength. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base in the box and shows a simple load and weight shift at start of swing. Fluid bat path through the zone and shows bat speed at contact, Upper body swing and shows strength coming off the barrel, detects spin out of pitcher's hand, solid line drive contact coming off the barrel. Excellent student.
