Jacob Pitts is a 2018 OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends Whitfield Academy. Recorded a 7.20 second 60-yard dash time. Strong and well-built frame with present physicality and room for more. Primary outfielder who works well through throws athletically. Has good tools, three-quarter arm slot on throws. Can see to sure up footwork but good arm strength up to 87 mph; arm strength showed in game. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a long arm action featuring slight wrist wrap. Three-quarter arm slot and has a leg lift up to the belt. Showed a 12/6 curveball that flashed sharp depth low in the dirt for swings and misses. Righthanded hitter with good balance and direction. Up the middle contact consistently and polish to the approach. Repeats well with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Flashed bat speed and showed good strength to all fields. Named to the 2017 Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
