Andrew Bakowski is a 2007 RHP/1B/OF from Regis HS in Stamford, Connecticut, with a tall, lean 6'4"/185 pound frame. On the mound, Andrew pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with minimal effort. He has a balanced delivery with a good finish and gets a good downward plane to the plate. His fastball was 80 mph and he gets good depth on his 64 mph curveball, which may be his best pitch. As a left handed hitter, Bakowski has a top hand release with a small stride. He has a line drive approach at the plate. Andrew has athletic actions at first base with good hands and good feet. Bakowski is an excellent student as well.
