Shawn Moose is a 2016 SS/2B, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Portsmouth, VA who attends Suffolk Christian Academy (Homeschooled). Moose has a lean athletic build. Hits from a square stance, toe tap trigger, smooth load of hands. Short line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Has barrel control and consistently gets barrel to ball. Lot of line drives during batting practice and in game. Ball really jumped off barrel, made hard contact. Defensively, good lateral range, reads hops and fields hops well. Has good arm strength. Solid fielding actions. Outstanding Student.
