Colin Hebreard is a 2022 2B/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Bolingbrook, IL who attends Plainfield East. Young, square shouldered build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill throughout. Ran a 9.87 60-yard dash. Listed as a primary second baseman, only threw from the mound in this look. Begins with a leg lift up past belt and gets tall on back side during gather; compact arm action through the backside working to a three-quarters release point with extension out front. Can continue to implement additional lower half, fastball topped out at 69 mph with occasional sink; effort at release, pitched to contact and stayed off barrels. Flashed curveball with 11-5 shape and short depth at 61 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and hands away from body in the box; begins by loading hands back at start of swing. Upper body dominant swing with a full path through the zone; occaisonally shifts weight onto front side early. Contact oriented approach, strength projects with physical growth. Excellent student.
