Miles Rimbaud is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Fiorello H Laguardia High School Of Music. Extra-large, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, easy target for infielders to throw to, stays back on ground balls, longer arm action with strength on accurate throws across. Also pitches, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a long arm action in back. Sound, repeatable delivery, fastball up to 80 mph with heavy life and ability to locate inside to hitters. Strong feel for curveball at 68 mph. Right-handed batter, starts from an upright stance, hits with a simple, easy approach in the box. Longer swing with a quick bat, shows lift in his swing. Gets extension in swing, shows present power with hard contact off barrel. Projects for more with incorporation of lower half. Very good student.
