Sam Stewart is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Granville, OH who attends Granville. Medium, strongly built, wiry, athletic frame. Ran a 7.14 60 yard dash. Shows good footwork on the infield and circles the ball well. Arm strength plays well. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and flashes big pull side power. Gets on his front foot at times, but uses a line drive swing path and translates well into game action. Makes consistent contact and flashes good bat speed. Life in his bat. Named to Top Prospect list.
