Coleman Flom is a 2017 RHP with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Riverwood HS. Tall extra long and lean build, lanky frame with long levers, very good physical projection. Has some energy to his delivery, good arm extension from a 3/4's release angle, will pull across his body hard at times and miss glove side, settled down well with his mechanics after an inning. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, gets heavy life down in the one. Quality feel for his change up, good arm speed and velocity separation from his fastball, gets fading action. Also had feel for his curveball, best when he stays on line and gets a 11/5 shape, will pull across at times for more of a sweeping break. Young pitcher who should keep getting better as he gets stronger and controls his delivery more consistently. Excellent student.
