Logan Adams is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Knoxville Christian. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Right handed hitter with a wide lower half base and straight stance. Extended stride length with rotational lower half actions to contact. Shows a linear swing with a line drive plane that produces some bat speed while extended through the baseball. Flashed solid leverage at contact as well showing gap to gap potential when timed and squared. Worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a low athletic set with good hip flexion. Soft hand receiving with smooth glove skills while framing. Gains ground well with quick footwork. Solid arm strength with a quick release producing accurate, on line throws. Solid tools and athletic ability behind the plate. Also ran a 6.94 sixty-yard dash. Very good student as well.
