Drew Pepper is a 2017 2B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Starrs Mill High School. Large frame, lean, slender frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Primary right handed pitcher, started on the first base side of the rubber, worked over front side, long, loose arm action, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Worked very well downhill with good extension and created angle to the plate. Fastball worked 81-84 mph with good arm side life. Worked the pitch well inside on right handed hitters. Mixed pitches well and showed a 12/6 shaped curveball with depth and developing spin. Also showed a slider with 10/4 shape at 74 mph with tight bend. Changeup as well with good fade at 77 mph and feel to throw all pitches for strikes. Generated a good number of swings and misses and laid off barrels with good command to the corners. Named to Top Prospect List.
