Nick Taylor is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Central, SC who attends D W Daniel HS. Has a lean build with room to put on additional strength as he matures. 7.46 runner. In the infield, young actions and developing transfer and release. Took his time approaching ground balls. Velocity reaching up to 77 MPH across. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance, spread base, and had the bat wrapped. Flashed signs of strength, limited use of lower half. Looked to redirect ball up the middle. Will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, had simple delivery from 3/4 arm slot. Had a short arm wrist wrap with easy arm action. 10/4 loose spin on curveball with solid depth. Occasionally dropped slot down and pulled across body. Good student.
