Mitch Roe is a 2017 3B/C with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Port Allen, LA who attends St. Michael the Archangel HS. Large frame, strong build, clear sign of present strength. From the infield, good lateral range on the infield. Long arm action, takes his time to gather, solid throws across. Behind the plate, short compact arm action. Made strong, accurate throws down to second. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance and a high hand set close to the body. Short compact swing, direct to the baseball. Generates some lift at the point of contact. Developing lower half and extension. Good student.
