Dillon Cousin is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Northshore HS. Strong and thick athletic build, especially strong in the lower half. Has a clean and compact delivery that he repeats well, full arm circle in back coming to an over the top arm slot, gathers well over the rubber and gets good lower half drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, gets good running action and spots the ball away from right handed hitters well. Curveball is a good pitch, tunnels it well with his fastball and has consistent 1/7 tightness and break, gets plenty of swing and miss on his curveball. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with some strength in his swing, pull approach and can impact the ball. Very good student.
