Brandon Neff is a 2006 right handed pitcher/shortstop from Naples, FL with a slender projectable build at 6-0, 160 lbs. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with an easy delivery and excellent mechanics. His fastball tops at 82 mph with slight hand side movement. His curveball is at 68 mph with a decent 11-5 break. His slider is at 73 with good depth. His change has good sink at 73 mph. He shows good arm strength at 80 mph across the infield. He ran a 6.98 in the 60. He hits from an upright narrow stance with a low hand set. He has a good contact approach with decent power to all fields. He projects well on the hill and he will be a high level prospect for 2006. Brandon is a very good student.
