Weston Wiles is a 2019 OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Fort Myers HS. Medium build, athletic frame with some present strength distributed nicely throughout. Ran a 6.96 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, mostly smooth footwork but waits back on ball, would like to see attack the ball with more charge, solid transfer from glove to hand with a quick release, developing arm strength, would like to see get on top of ball for more carry and better accuracy to the bag, topped out at 77 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, wide base, leg lift trigger with no stride, would like to see implement a weight transfer into swing for more power and to create more bat speed, short hand path to ball with good hand strength, slight lift in swing, middle of the field line drive approach, high average swing when staying on plane but can get a bit choppy. Great student.
