Donovan Lynch is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Apopka, FL who attends Apopka. Medium frame with athletic, physical present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.80 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance with high hands and barrel, shows legitimate bat speed with looseness to hands, light toe tap trigger, consistently drove the ball into the air with positive launch angle, did a good job squaring up the ball consistently and has very good hitting tools. Worked out in two spots. Came in on ball well in the outfield and has athleticism through footwork, uphill release, showed good arm strength up to 86 mph; moved well to both sides in the infield and fields cleanly, arm strength up to 83 mph across the diamond. Pitched as well, slow-paced delivery, showed good arm speed with fastball in upper-70's along with some arm side run. Also mixed in curveball and changeup. Named to 2017 Sunshine East Top Prospect List; good student.
