Nathan Price is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 197 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Starrs Mill HS. On the mound he worked exclusively out of the stretch with a fluid delivery, high leg lift coils the front side, hands raise with leg lift to high separation. Arm action is compact and loose to a 3/4 release point with easy effort to the plate. Good fastball curveball mix. Stayed away with fastball and occasionally show in with two strikes while working the velocity up to 82mph. Curveball at 73mph has good depth and stays on his fastball plane. Maintained command of both pitches in four innings of work. On the infield he has a good first step to the ball, fields with good technique, and threw accurately to the bag. At the plate he starts narrow and open with the hands high above the shoulder. Really impressive power on display in batting practice, barrel tip to strong launch position, good bat speed with easy power to all fields, home run to the pull side and great feel for contact. Great student.
