Justin Wernoski is a 2018 1B/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Trinity HS. Younger, developing build with medium frame, plenty of room to add strength at maturity. Right handed hitter, slightly open, narrow feet stance with low hand set. Shows an advanced feel for barrel for age group, is aggressive and has bat speed, maintains good balance. Good line drive contact around the field, showed best while using the opposite field. Still developing defensive skills, flashes solid footwork and arm strength, can get a bit rushed at times. Projects well on both sides of ball with experience and physicality. Excellent student.
