Everhett Hazelwood is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Norco. Large frame with solid, athletic build and good projectable room for additional growth remaining. Posted a 7.42 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from hunched over stance with solid balance, drifts a bit onto front side before contact, shows clean hands into line drive swing plane with solid line drive contact consistently to all fields. Swing projects well for additional power with added strength. Worked out well in the outfield, attacking the ball and working through it after fielding cleanly off to side, arm works well with solid arm strength. Good athletic actions, arm strength up to 82 MPH. Pitched as well, showed longer arm action up to high three quarters slot with some tightness. Uses legs well in delivery. Fastball worked 77-80 MPH, showed quality curveball with 12/6 shape and good, sharp spin. Good student.
