Michael Jensen is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-5 225 lb. frame from Eden Prairie, MN who attends Holy Family Catholic HS. Extra large build with very good present strength. Deep arm action in back, drop and drive mechanics with some back side collapse, 3/4's arm slot, pitches tend to lack plane despite height. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, has been up to 90 mph at PG events in the past, can get his fastball to both sides of the plate. Soft curveball with a sweeping shape, showed some feel for his change up. Threw strikes with all his pitches and mixed his pitches. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
