Alan Roman is a 2018 OF/SS with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, PR who attends Juan Suarez Pelegrina. Younger player with a medium build and a lean, slender frame and room to continue to fill out. Posted a 6.93 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked well through the ball and charged well with developing arm strength. Fielded the ball clean with quick footwork. At the plate, started with an even stance and a high hand set close to the body. Linear swing path with an approach that worked the opposite field and occasionally hitting off his front side. With additional balance and lower half incorporation, would see improvements. Exceptional student.
