Zach Kenyon is a 2007 RHP with a 6'5'', 195 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Davenport Central HS. He has a long and lean build with good overall athleticism. Kenyon's delivery is sound, he has some back turn for deception and a long, smooth arm action. Kenyon's arm is quick out front and he throws downhill. He threw as well as he has all spring, with a fastball that was consistently 87-89 mph. Kenyon's curveball had consistent spin and break to it at 72 mph and he mixed in a few change ups. It's hard to believe that Kenyon isn't going to keep getting better as he gets stronger and more physically mature.

Zach Kenyon is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'5'', 195 lb. frame from Davenport, IA, who attends Davenport Central High School. Kenyon has a great pitcher's build. He is tall and lean and is very projectable. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a loose and easy arm. He has a very sound delivery with good mechanics. He does a great job of repeating his delivery for a young player of his height. He gets running action on his 88 mph fastball that he will throw harder in the near future. He shows good control of his pitches that include the fastball, curveball, and change. He has a solid curve ball with a short break that is better at times when he gets extension out front. Kenyon has a feel for his change, but does not throw it often. He has very good upside, and it will be fun to see how good he is in three to four years. He is a must follow, and is a good student as well.

Zach Kenyon is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'5'', 185 lb. frame from Davenport IA, who attends Davenport Central HS. He has a long limbed frame and good strength projection. Kenyon has a live, loose arm and a short, whippy arm action. His delivery is quick paced and has lots of different parts and could probably be smoothed out. He has good arm speed and is easy to project gaining velocity as he gets stronger. Kenyon threw his fastball up to 85 mph and he likes to throw inside to right handed hitters, which makes his fastball look like it's jumping and boring inside. Kenyon's curveball was 68 mph with a big, sweeping action and would improve with more velocity. He also mixed in a couple of 76 mph change ups. Kenyon is a good student.
