John Blue is a 2015 RHP/ with a 6-3 187 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends East Chapel Hill. Blue has a long lean athletic build with room to fill out. Slow deliberate wind up, long arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot. Effort in delivery with down plane on fastball, shows feel for a 11/5 curveball with good action and depth. Defensively, short arm action to 3/4 release. Effort in throws, takes good angle to backhand. Good Student.
