Braxton Edrington is a 2019 OF/MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Legacy Christian Academy High School. Medium build and frame with athleticism and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.12 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed young actions and moved well through the ball with raw arm strength up to 75 mph. Also worked out in the infield with good actions to his backhands with some gather and threw from a higher slot. At the plate, started with wide base, high hand set, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Showed a line drive swing plane, barrel tip to accelerate bat speed, compact swing, and a middle to pull approach. Flashed carry off the barrel and worked up to the ball with a positive entry angle. Would continue to see positive improvements with additional lower half incorporation. Exceptional student.
