Ben Henderson is a 2007 1B/UT with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Albany, NY who attends Guilderland HS. Ben has a strong athletic build and shows nice present strength in his body. At the plate Ben has a good approach with quick hands and good bat speed. He gets a lot out of his lower half and has good raw power upside. In the field Ben has very good defensive actions and is quick around the bag. He has a strong arm and should be a good first baseman at the next level. Ben is a good student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.

Ben Henderson is a 2007 first baseman/left handed pitcher from Albany, New York with a solid 6'0"/190 pound frame. As a left handed hitter, he hits from a wide and closed stance. Henderson is a physically strong player that swings a quick bat at the plate, including 2 home runs in batting practice. At first base, he has a good glove and gets good carry on his throws across the infield. As a left handed pitcher, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a high leg kick and deliberate delivery. Ben gets slight run on his 82 mph fastball. He throws a tight breaking 2-7 curveball and maintains good arm speed on his 70 mph changeup. Henderson is also a good student.
