Hunter Prescher is a 2019 3B/RHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Burleson HS. Strong compact build, worked out at infield and catcher. During infield workouts he had good footwork and approach to the ball, fielded out front, got the hop he wanted and threw with accuracy to first base. Behind the plate he show cased good footwork again by gaining ground to second and threw with accuracy to the bag. At the plate he stands narrow and slightly open, has simple movements, small quick gather to rear leg, strides with internal rotation and lands with coiled front side. Shows strength at contact and barrel path worked on plane. on the mound he showed a long loose arm action, hid the ball well, delivery is online, gets extension with his finish. Fastball sat 74-76 with arm side run and occasional cut if he got around the ball, curveball high was 68 miles per hour and had depth, maintained arm speed on change up at 73 with good feel generating sink and more fade. Great student.
