Bryan Torres is a 2014 2B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends All Hallows. Medium, athletic build with present strength on frame and more to come. Strong runner, posted a 6.84 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, smooth athletic actions, shows some range, fields the ball out front, quick transfer and arm with solid strength and carry across diamond. Gets good jumps in the outfield, short arm action, comes out of hand clean, good carry, stays tall at release. Right-handed hitter, starts with spread lower half, high back elbow. Short path to the ball, upper half swing, stays in control of swing, good bat speed., recognizes breaking ball well in game, quick hands, creates line drive contact to middle and pull side of field. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
