Tyler Dunbar is a 2017 C/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles High School. Medium build and frame with a compact lower half and good present strength. Primary catcher, received the ball well with a quick transfer and online throws with a top pop time of 1.95. At the plate, started with an open stance and a high hand set. Torques through his hips well and swings with intent to drive the ball with good bat speed. Showed a line drive swing plane with barrel turn and the ability to create backspin. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
