Michael Andreas is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Middletown, NJ who attends Blair Academy. Tall long limbed build, good present strength with more to come. Multi-piece arm action and delivery, 3/4's to mid 3/4's release, lots of deception but delivery can be hard to repeat. Steady mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, throws strikes with his fastball and works to the corners. Very soft curveball has good depth at times, has a good feel in his curveball and confidence in throwing it. Left handed hitter, square stance, rotational line drive swing, pull approach with an early front side, has some strength at contact. Showed good defensive actions at first base.
