Jacob Ledesma is a 2018 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Bowie HS. Ledesma has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he moves to the ball well and has good actions through the baseball. Ledesma has soft hands and clean transfers and showed the ability to make the play on the run. He showed developing arm strength up to 77 MPH with online throws. At the plate Ledesma starts with an open stance and rocks back to load. He gets closed and stays tall on his backside. He swings on a line drive path and made line drive contact to the middle of the field and to the pull side. He showed some barrel skills and showed some bat speed. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He has an inline delivery and it's repeatable. He throws an 11/5 curveball with developing shape and spin.
